It was created in audacity by using a piece the audio track from the end of the movie "my cousin vinny". It is the line marisa tomei says as she and vinny are driving back to n. Y. (oh my god, what a f'ing nightmare). It was then noise-reduced, pitch and tempo adjusted, reversed, and paulstretched.

Recorded with zoom h2 to 96 khz / 24-bit wav, encoded to flac with audacity. There's some background noise and touching sounds, possibly useful as foley. The initial pressure jet is distorted, so you'd need to clean it up a bit or use for special effects instead. Enjoy!.

It's a recording of water boiling in a kettle. You can hear the electric gas ignitor, the ignition and then warming up. The water was already very hot so this wouldn't take forever to boil. Voice samples for video games i made for a tigsource game competition using audacity. They're made to be chopped up and as flexible as possible for a video game. This one is of a male hero type character. The sample includes no words, just vocalizations like grunts, eating sounds, and hit sounds.

Made using two synths. One is a noise generator that has been pitched down three octaves. It has a 12-hertz sine tremolo on either side, one of which is offset by half a wavelength. The other synth is a deep organ playing e3 and g3. I cut the sound in audacity, and the waves line up perfectly, so you don't need to worry about looping it badly.

Here's another crowd sound effect i did. Although it's quite a fake laughter, i tried to make it sound realistic as possible. I almost actually lost my voice since i kinda did them a bit too forcibly. Since i had to rest, i added another laughing clip instead of doing more laughters. I wanted to make a sound effect for a game i'm developing, and so i recorded a 100-mm artillery cannon at camp williams (utah national guard), then modified the sounds using audacity. The recording was done on an olympus digital recorder in the mid-2000s (first decade). It sounded a little to me like the tribute cannon from hunger games (the sound effect that signals the deaths of the tributes), thus the name.

Noise left after dithering and phase canceling a tone. A tone was created with audacity's tone generator. Another version of the tone was made by downsampling and dithering the original tone in ableton live. I then phase cancelled the two sounds by switching the polarity of one of the tones and blending them back together in audacity. Because of the phase canceling, none of the original tone can be heard. Only the noise added during dithering remains.

An experimental sound i did while messing with audacity. A collection of sounds of a magazine flipping through its pages and a heavy book slamming shut. Recorded using a blue yeti microphone at 16-bit 44100hz in audacity.
