I wanted to create a sound that could be creepy but not too scary for kids or children's stories originally. Then i added the paulstretch effect in audacity to create a more ominous, creepy, scary, evil, sound for a more horror like ambience. I am uploading the original as well without paulstretch and maybe another version with echo and/or reverb. A horror sound for as a sound effect. I played smoke on the water on my guitar, recorded it and edited it in audacity. I reversed the audio, tuned the sound lower and speeded it up. This was the result, a creepy horror suspense sound.
