I recorded my whistle with this one too. I have the ability to make reverse whistling sounds. I just killed background noises in my bedroom using my audio editing program and i added a reverb for that echo in the forest sound. This is a bird making different sounds.

One of my favorite spots to hike in illinois has this quite long, and beautiful and rock-lined beautiful creek. Now, even though this creek is in heavy forest, which often leads to very low water levels during the summer, this creek is spring fed so it always has a beautiful ribbon of pure water running 12 months out of the year. I've spent many minutes and countless hours beside this living, breathing water-course pondering the beauty of nature, and reflecting back on my childhood. A childhood filled with much love and many creek adventures. This was recorded on march 8 2021, at a time in the midwest woods when the mayapples are popping up-- lime green umbrellas spotting the forest floor. A recording made on sunday september 27th, 2015 at 2:45pm in the forest on a cloudy slightly humid day in early fall. The temperature was about 70 and it was a fairly quiet woods. The squeaky sound that you hear off and on is a tree-frog. Made with marantz pmd661 and sennheiser me-66 microphones. Enjoy.

In this recording, made on the bank of a small creek situated in a ravine, you will hear various birds including, northern parula, louisiana waterthrush, an eastern phoebe, a carolina wren and an american robin.
