Needed different sounds of men crying in pain. Didn´t found the right expressions of pain here on freesound. So recorded a set of different noises, grunts and crys. Made some fast mixes - but you can take all the originals and do your own creative combination. But for the stressed and lazy ones - you can use the fast mixes :-) i just cleaned them up. I've used freesound shared sounds for my podcasts since 2020. I needed the sound of a dog wagging its tail on a wooden floor for my latest episode and couldn't find an appropriate one. So i created this sound by talking sweetly to my dog while lying on his side on the floor. The original audio file had more of me talking than my dog wagging his tail. But this is a good summary of what it sounds like when he thumps his tail. And i thought i'd give back to freesound by sharing it. Feel free to use it however you want.

This is a version of a previous file i created (https://freesound. Org/people/funwithsound/sounds/394897/)that includes a gong at the end to make it more dramatic. While perusing freesound for a nice and dramatic sound or two of failures, all the ones i've seen were pretty wimpy, so-to-speak. So i decided to create a few failure samples on a music-making program called musescore. These are for big whopper failures (or "epic failures") and are very dramatic - they may also be used for a scary event in a film or play. It includes a short buildup and a loud dissonant chord at the end to create suspense and horror. For this project i used violins, violas, cellos, double basses, timpani, cymbals and brass. Enjoy!.

I'm doing some ww1 commemorative stuff and couldn't find any marching on freesound. So here's my effort: 25s of medium pace marching on gravel, made from a few freesound samples mixed and retimed to match the pace. It's a very bright, close-mic sound, with wide stereo spread. It should loop seamlessly. So this is a composite made from:60076__sinatra314__footsteps-in-gravel-loop109487__tomlija__11-footsteps-on-the-gravel213307__taira-komori__walking-on-the-earth. I've retimed them all to be roughly in synch, added a multitap delay to boost the numbers of feet and some eq to give more of an impression of space.

Original sound captured using a zoom h5 recorder and a rode nt5 microphone. Cut and reversed in ocenaudio. Timestretching and filtering (pro-filter, talk wah) applied using reaper.
