Voice samples for video games i made for a tigsource game competition using audacity. They're made to be chopped up and as flexible as possible for a video game. This one is of a male hero type character. The sample includes no words, just vocalizations like grunts, eating sounds, and hit sounds.

A metal spring hit with a metal rod, recorded in xy with rode nt-5s on marantz 661. Swinging backwards and forwards.

I had a mason jar filled with smoothie ingredients so i jammed on it.

One big tom hit and a wooden click. Sorry, i forgot to mention, this is yet another sample made with teleport8's fantastic drum set!.

Marbles being shaken together in the hand. A clinking sound comes from the marbles hitting one another. Recorded with a zoom h6 and stereo microphone (rode ntg2).

It's just a strange, weird sound i created based on a percussion hit and processed with a lot of effects in ableton.

Recorded on oct 29 2012 at 96k/24bit with a rode ntg-3 into a zoom h4n. I was recording wind ambience as hurricane sandy was currently swirling around. Along this bike trail i found this wooden ramp. Upon standing on it i realized it moved! and better yet it made some pretty cool creaking sounds!.

A dark and dissonant hit on the very low piano keys. With a bit of eq to increase the low rumble and a lot of reverb. Not a real piano but a vst instrument. Suitable for e. G. Horror films and games. The versions (a) and (b) of each sound in this pack are the same notes but on different pianos with sligthly different settings. Post-processing: eq & reverb.

Bowling: here we have the sounds of a bowling ball hitting the pins in a bowling alley. Not only do you hear the loud crash when contact is being made by the ball but you also hear the pins scatter. There are different variations of the ball hitting the pins to accommodate the user's preferences. They vary in tempo and amplitude. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. Great to add some fun to a soundscape.

I grabbed a metal mallet (mini sledgehammer) and dropped in on cement in various ways. Lightly and a bit harder. Recorded into my ntg3 in a garage sectioned off. Signal to noise ratio was really good because it was a loud sound. H5 was my recorded. Cleaned some hum using rx4. Boom!. Pretty please, post a link if you use this file.
