This recording was taken in the edinburgh cbd during the fringe festival in august 2022 in the early evening, around 7pm. I like it because it gives an idea of the unusual way that sounds travel in that city. I could never figure out the reason for it, but it was noticeable to me the whole time i was there. If anyone knows the reason please post it in the comments. The recording was made with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5 portable recorder.

I mounted the mic inside and on top of the car and drove trough the city, recording some ambulance, traffic, and a scooter that was tooting, later i turned of engine, opened and closed the car door and startet the engine, maybe you find it useful, let me know :). This is a sound effect of me pumping one of those hand pumps used to hold water or cleaner for spraying. My pumping causes pressure that makes the water bubble (which you can hear in the sound). A pluck on a jew's harp. Recorded late at night in my bedroom on a samsung mp3 player. I enhanced it to the best of my abilities in audacity since the original recording had a low bitrate (64kbps mp3), the volume was low and it had a lot of static noise. You guys are probably wondering why i haven't been posting many sounds for the last month well number one so i can upload a lot of sounds at once and two i have been pretty busy with track and play practice. It's a recording i made while having troubles with my nose. Kind of disgusting recording, but might be a lot of fun to play with. You can hear me breating in through nose, breathing out, and finally sucking the problematic substances to my throat (i subsequently spit it out, but i coudn't record that - i had no place to spit it into). Recorded with zoom h2 via usb into ardour 2. Originally 48000/16-bit wav, coverted to flac with ardour.

This is a 808 bass which i sampled from my novation drum station. The sample covers one full octave from c#0-c1. The sound was recorded through a yamaha m1516 which pretty much has the same circuit as a api. As you can hear it sounds pretty much the same as a roland 808. The drum station uses analog modeling so the sound is pretty nice. Feel free to use in your productions. There is no need to contact me if you release a track with this sample just enjoy.

I made this little snippet in the free & open source music making application lmms. What does this suit for? i could only imagine. . . Everything from a dimension travel to someone hitting their head and tripping out into another world. It would be very fun if you left a comment on how you used this, i would be interested to hear. So i've made a skit 10 or so years ago. It was for a story i had designed called "axe troopers" 3 kids with an axe trained to be assassins. I recorded this quick improvisation with my built-in laptop microphone and track monitoring on in reaper, which resulted in it sounding washed-out, warped, and screechy in the high end. At the beginning you hear the distorted wail of a left click initiating the recording. Somebody walks into the living room at the end and we share an exchange. I didn't add any effects or edit this audio in any way, it's just a fun experiment. Let me know if you use this for something!!!!!.

Five glorious minutes of the sound of ducks! recorded on the woodland lakes holiday park near thirsk in yorkshire. Over 100 mallard ducks descend onto a small man-made lake in the midst of the holiday cabins and then proceed to quack loudly and splash about in the water.
