A recording (using an ntg3 hooked into a h4n) of a 15 week old pug puppy snoring away having wonderful dreams. Some background noise (mainly in the low end, so easily removable).

Beating heart of a 33 year old male at rest. Recorded with a lapel mic in a small ceramic bowl held against my chest while lying down. 72 beats per minute. Recorded november 11, 2020. Used a hiss reduction filter to remove noise.

At least 2 or 3 local species of native frogs in my neighbours pond. This is found in an old library from the software "olitec", that ran on windows 95. Answering machine software that says "leave a message". I can't make up if the speech is output by a robot or if it is just a human speech with very low framerate.

I sampled a single note, which then fed ok into a midi keyboard, allowing me to effectively play jews harp melodies. The result was pretty ok.

Sounds of an old hard disk drive from 2005 (hitachi). You hear starting of the spinning noise and the heads rumbling when data is read and written. I started a short defragmenting to make the disk noisy. Recorded with a roland r-05.

Some old v8 engined cars in a parade, idling and occasionally revving. They have open headers, meaning they have no mufflers and either no or very small exhaust pipes, therefore they're loud and "burbly"! there is some chatter from people standing on the parade route as well. I have an old toy called a zube tube which is a cardboard tube with a plastic cup in each end and a long spring stretched between the cups. When you shake the tube it makes the weirdest sounds! in this recording i am holding and shaking the tube vertically. You can hear the spring oscillating.

Recorded on my zoom h4n 44100 hz stereo. This is a short clip of my 11 year old son playing basketball in the driveway at our house. There is ambient road noise. It starts off with a swish, then some dribbling then another swish. This is a rubber basketball bouncing on asphalt with a metal rim, nylon net and wooden backboard.

This is a tesla coil with a discharge that sounds muck like an old style 'stick' arc welder. For the technical it is a tesla coil that uses a static spark gap, while high-voltage-discharge-2 clip uses a rotary gap giving a different sound altogether. This is my four years old kid singing a long version of the abc's song. The idea of this version is to learn the sounds of every letter in the alphabet. The voice was recorded using the app "tape" by focusrite, with the an ipad's microphone without using any metronome or background track. The song was recorded in february 2014, in quito ecuador.

Vinyl-like sounds coming from my old guitar(cheap stratocaster imitation) connected directly into the mic input of my pc with an adapter, the volume and tone knobs, and the five way switch make a similar noise but way more louder; which can be heard around the end, the audio is compressed with the compressor from ableton live 9.

Old experiments using a simple 8 bit vst controlled by a midi keyboard. Recorded in real time by messing around with my effects rack in my daw, changing effect orders on the fly, disabling and enabling things etc. Very fun stuff :d.
