A simple recreation of the "flint phone" sound effect using sine waves. This effect originally appeared in the film, "in like flint" as the presidential "red phone" sound effect. It later appeared in the film, "austin powers: the spy who shagged me," as austin powers' car phone ringtone.
A short recording of me typing on my phone. A couple of breath sounds interrupt so apologies for that but hopefully a helpful little recording!. Recorded over laptop mic. Sound of a samsung s8 keyboard.
Dropping a phone book on a table and giving it a little push. Recorded with h5 zoom with ntg-3 mic. Please note: no phone books were harmed in the making of the audio (sorry about the trees).
An edited version of my "boiling water" sound to simulate a phone vibrating on a table. Recorded for my sound design class using a samsung galaxy s7 internal microphone.
A bad recording of a party, so it sounds like you were hearing a party over the phone. I am releasing this sample into public domain, ignore the cc license.
Two slowed down samples of a cell phone on vibrate (taken from previously uploaded sound "phone vibrate". Now sounds more like an engine starting up and subsiding. . . Or a really lame lawnmower.
Another bad recording of a party, so it sounds like you were hearing a party over the phone. I am releasing this sample into public domain, ignore the cc license.

Cell phone vibrating on a hard surface, recorded from within. I put a nokia 6060 on top of a turned-over plastic ikea bin and a zoom h2 under it. This sound is cc0 but i highly recommend that you include a link to this page when using it, to avoid misunderstandings. Http://farm9. Staticflickr. Com/8070/8213683889_517a10ef52_o. A uniden phone recorded with a consumer camera with built in microphone, (sony-cybershot). This was listened to on a television set and it sounds like the actual thing! on the computer it doesnt sound anything like the real thing. You're welcome and good luck using this sound.
I used audacity with an internal mic to record this. Its good quality though. i just dialed some numbers on my house phone with the dialtone at the beginning. Its very clear there might be some background noise though.
