What seems to be a malfunctioning alarm at a rail crossing. The clanging of the electronic bell has an irregular pattern and seems muted. Perhaps even more annoying to some than the typical crossing gate alarm.

This high quality recording is of a cargo logistics train leaving the port of fremantle, pulling many, at least 50, sea containers on rail-cars through a railway crossing on a bend, curve of the line. This is about 2 minutes total. It is of an approaching long freight train passing about 100 yards away in it's entirety. Train was doing around 45 mph. There are no other background sounds, no traffic, no crossing alarms, no street noise, no airplanes, no people, etc. There are three diesel electric locomotives in the front, then about a mile of freight cars, then one diesel electric locomotive "pushing" from the rear (it almost sounds like a jet engine!).
