Preparing coffee on an old wood-heated stove. You can hear wood-chopping, fire crackling, pouring of water into the pot, metallic noises from the stove. Recorded in an old house in nykarleby, finland, with atr25 stereo microphone to sony minidisc recorder.

This is a night field-recording of the frogs and insects in a pond on the grounds of the grove studio, somersby, nsw. The recording was made on a tascam dr-44wl @ 24bit 48khz and then the distance freeway and other noise was attempted to be removed using rx spectral de-noise. The files have then been normalised. Enjoy!.

That sound was recorded in mai 2016 inside an old watermill house in bavaria, where the old waterwheel still drives a wooden gear with cogwheels. Originally that watermill had several purposes like hammering, sawing, pressing oil from different fruits or producing paper.
