I've never heard so many frogs/peepers so deafeningly loud, persistent and oblivious to humans. I tried to record where the water was running but the animals drowned out the sound of the water. This sound is of a loop of chains being manipulated, along with footsteps. It is meant to invoke a sense of imprisonment or creepiness, but you may use it as you please. It was taken using a zoom h4n field recorder. The chains were 1/4 inch thick, attached to picnic tables, the footsteps are of skate shoes on concrete. 2014.

Using a finger and a small blackroll tube, i recorded a few plopps with a rode nt-usb mini and the rode podcast recording software. Noise gate and compression were turned on at the time of recordings. For me, it sounds a little bit like a cork popping from a bottle, but it has a richer sound, somewhat overdoing it. . . Good for sfx though.
