A recording of a super fast hand dryer at a service station in the uk. Adjusted to reduce over loud volume and converted from wma to wav in adobe soundbooth.
A videotronic super 8mm repeater projector having it's blub flipped on, then the film started. It is then switched off in reverse order. Recorded with a cad gxl2200 microphone.
Made from scratch in audacity. Started with a generated 'pluck' and expanded from there. I think it has a bit of doctor who tardis interior background sound effect about it.
This is a sound effect i made by messing around in garage band. It started out with a sound-effect of me typing, but i played around with the fx and now we have something strange.
Loop of a diesel engine that i'm planning to use in a game i'm making. Created with audacity from scratch (starting from a fire sound effect also built with an audacity plugin).
Equipment used: edirol r-09. My nephew playing with his toy bus, spending the day playing with it without worries. I sat beside him and started recording.
This is a wip i started making yesterday 12/4/2020 as part of an album i am working on. The album will be dedicated to all the people in the world suffering from this virus.
This is the sound of a 98cc sachs engine of a 1938 light motorbike. It is one of the bikes in my private collection. The sounds reflect the fuel cock switching, flooding of the carburettor, sucking of the cylinder and two tries to bring the engine to life. The sound in between is the clutch lever. The engine is started by pedaling the bike on its stand. Main engine run features idle to half throttle open. The engine is eventually stopped by using the decompression lever which you can hear at the end. This is a true recording of the actual item.
I write mlp fanfictions, and i'm all like "why have i never taken my dialogue before????" so i'm gonna try to start saving some of my original dialogue.
Less than a minute after a cat hauled away a squirrel in its teeth, this squirrel showed up and started calling. A distraught squirrel barking for its missing mate.
Coming out of the far end of my steve reich obsession, this starts as a pretty simple two violins and piano thing but layers up quite big. I like it quite a lot.
A jetty (ferry) on the banks of the river ganga, west bengal, india. Sparse walla of passengers speaking in bangla. Neumann kmr81 recorded on a sound devices 664.
A sewing machine starting up and sewing twice, with the normal rattle and whirr of its motor. (it could also be used for a biplane's propeller, just a thought. ).
A series of percussive and harsh stabs, distorted and with little tonality. I sampled these when i crashed a 303 softsynth and the buffer started to fxxk up.
Recorded in ms-stereo, with neumann rsm191. Recorded next to an airfield, you hear sports airplanes starting and landing in the background, while hundreds of frogs are giving a nice concert in the evening.
