I put this together on a whim, having fun. It's mindless, i know. It so happened i'd just listened to an excellent rendition of the washington post march, a seemingly appropriate masterpiece by john philip sousa. Appropriate in 1889, that is. Https://youtu. Be/mxrh1crmmty. Today we don't seem to be doing quite that well. Few realize that the u. S. Government doesn't have enough money to support your grandma's left tit, and the trillions in the budget are taxes on the expected earnings of our great-great-great grandchildren. This year alone we'll add another "great" to that. It seems no one can agree on anything, social media decides what you can say publicly (or never be heard), and very nearly every power-drunk politician is interested only in acquiring or retaining said power. Our ideological mismatch is something to be exploited. Divided, we be easier to control. It's intentional. Absolutely. So, i submit this particular ditty as representative of the current state of affairs in the untied states. Misspelled on purpose. 1889, it is not.

Fast moving stream down from one of the waterfalls at silver falls state park in oregon. Water is flowing over rocks. Recorded, sorry to say, on my canon t3i mounted on tripod about 3 feet from the water so there is very little stereo separation. Runs at about -10db. Enjoy, i plan to upload more from my trip. The Glory of the Yankee Navy performed by the USMC Band. March, “The Glory of the Yankee Navy" (1909) - The musical comedy The Yankee Girl was in need of a spirited march, so Sousa was prevailed upon to provide one. The march, one of Sousa’s most interesting musically, was dedicated to the star of the show, Blanche Ring. Lyrics were provided by Kenneth S. Clark. The title underwent a process of evolution. The earliest known manuscript was labeled “Uncle Sam’s Navy.” Prior to the opening, newspapers referred to the march as “The Honor of the Yankee Navy.”

I recorded myself singing in the tunnel that connects the buildings on the minnesota state capitol complex. This is the first measure of music in the kyrie mass in g minor, which is usually sang by a chorus in a cathedral environment. The tunnel makes it sound exactly like i'm singing in a church.
