This is some room tone i recorded in a thankfully quiet time in my studio. It's an oktava 012 microphone in our whisperroom with the door wide open. Signal path is a neve 1272 and an apogee mini-me. Recorded in 24-bit at 48khz.
Jovica's hi-hat sample filtered and boosted a bit to bring out the high tone without the percussion tap. Similar to the tone between pages of a primary school reading book record.

A piece of pump organ improvisation with very little harmonic movement, but much space for the "breathe" of the instrument and the superposition (german schwebung) between the tones, the tones that swing between the tones in different time and tones. Switch on, tone, switch off. Foley used to play over talk-back from studio to voice-over announcer. Tone produced in protools using the tone generator, switch was recorded using a portable marantz pmd620 and sweetened in protools. Please rate this sound.
Recording of my office before anyone else is in. The only sound apart from the faint fan noise is a regular, very, very faint beep from something every few seconds (approx. 3. 7 khz). Zoom h5 with xyh5 capsules.
